GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Apart from the first day at the “Fiera di Padova”, with plenary lectures only, the Congress at “Fiore di Botta” is organized in parallel sessions. Due to anti-Covid provisions, in case of excessive turnout, the session will be connected live with an adjacent room.
The duration of each oral presentation (apart from the MAIN LECTURES) is 15 minutes (10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion). Slides are to be in English, the actual presentations may be either in Italian or in English.
Presenters are requested to adhere strictly to the allocated speaking time.
All presentations will have to be based on Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 or later versions – slides sized for: On-screen Show (16:9).
If you have movies/audio files in your presentation, please check in advance very carefully that it runs smoothly. Note that movie and audio files are typically not embedded in your PowerPoint file. Therefore, be sure to bring with you all the original movie/audio files (.mpeg, .avi, .mpg, .wav, etc.) and report to the "Slide Centre" well in advance.
Speakers are requested to upload their power point files in Google Drive in advance, see below; for safety, please bring your presentation also in a USB Flash drive, mobile hard disk or DVD.
